Science And Study
Bans on indoor smoking have forced smokers at bars and restaurants to outdoor patios. However, researchers have now raised concerns over the increasing exposure to second-hand airborne smoke.

Due to the increase of second hand smoke, the levels of a nicotine by-product known as cotinine in non-smokers have gone also gone up remarkably.

Second hand smoke contains several known carcinogens that are injurious to health.

Second hand smoke contains several known carcinogens and experts say that there is no safe level of exposure. So presence of second hand smoke, irrespective of its level in the air, is seen as a potential public health issue.

There is indeed a reason to be concerned about second-hand smoke levels in the air as the recent study and findings indicate serious health consequences.

Nicotine can be found in tomatoes, cauliflower, sweet peppers, chili peppers, teas, etc. It is absurd to say that the cotinine is coming from shs.
