Dal Thepla

INGREDIENTS :

2 Cups Tuvar Dal (Red Gram split)
1 ½ Cups Whole Wheat Flour
1 tsp Turmeric Powder
3 tbsp Coriander leaves, Chopped
1 tsp Dhania (Coriander Powder)
1 tsp Jeera (Cumin Powder)
4 Green Chilies
1 inch piece Ginger
Salt to taste


METHOD :

Dal TheplaWash and soak Tuvar Dal in water for one hour. Boil Dal till it is soft. Let it cool. Drain it completely. Grind boiled Dal along with all other ingredients to a smooth paste. Add flour to the mashed dal paste and knead to soft dough. Add water if required. Divide the dough into balls and roll out on a floured surface into chapathi's. Roast on both sides using Oil or Ghee.

Serve hot with Chutney or any side dish of your choice.

dal thepla is just the same as the normal dal paratha.i didn't find anything new.
