Swarna.Venkateswara Swamy, (also known as Venkateswara Swamy Swarna, S.V.Swamy or simply Swamy) was born in 1948 at Bapatla, Andhra Pradesh. He is a physicist and a metallurgist by education. His main areas of competence are Materials Testing, Inspection, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Quality Management, Training, Human Resource Development, Communication etc. He is a member of several Forums and Societies that deal with Non-Destructive Testing, Nuclear Energy etc.

He is an avid reader, a book reviewer and an editor. He has an abiding interest in holistic health sytems (such as Homeopathy, Reiki, Bach Flowers etc.) and has a great interest in spiritual subjects. He respects all Gods, Gurus and religions since he believes that the basic teachings of all of them are the same. He considers Sai Baba of Shirdi as his Sadguru but respects all Gurus. He runs a few Yahoo Groups on health and is a member of several other groups dealing with Reiki, Bach Flowers etc. He is also the owner of two Yahoo groups, "Sri-Datta-Saranam" and "Sri-Dattatreya-Mahatyam". He contribnutes articles on various aspects of health and spirituality to different ezines on the web.

He is married and has two sons. He lives in Hyderabad. He hopes to serve society through these articles, holistic health clinics (after his retirement) and spiritual discourses etc. Sai Ram..
