With an uncle for producer and freshness of looks, arrived another 'Khan' to the B-land of dreams. This Khan was slightly different with his shy nature, on-the-face sense of humor and no dreams to be an actor what so ever. Imraan Khan bought back the long lost 'chocolate-boy' charm and as we remember it was Amir Khan who was last to be considered with the same title. Before he could be rejected as 'yet-another-Khan' in an already long list of title holders, his debut film Jane tu ya jane na hit the bulls eye knocking over the other newcomer, Harman Baweja. A new star was born in the horizon of the glamor sky.
Quite a few people consider Amir to be controlling the steering wheel of Imran's career, if that's true, then there seems to be nothing wrong with it, as a 'godfather' is required to survive in the industry. Imran is a director at heart and also has a few pilot projects under his belt, his romance in front of the camera started at the age of four, playing the child Amir for the stars debut Qyamat se Qyamat tak. He later went on to play the 'little Amir' for Jo Jeeta wohi sikandar among many others.

Imran is an American-born Indian actor with a British decent and a Bengali trait. Born on 13 January to Anil Pal and Nuzhat Khan (Amir's sister), Imran is originally titled 'Pal' and not 'Khan'. Basically a food lover, Imran hates to work out and had to hit the gym to look bulky for his upcoming film Kidnap also starring Sanjay Dutt and Minishaa Lambda. According to him, cooking is therapeutic and his favorite dish is Daal tadka and rice.
Imran claims that he never wanted to intentionally get in to acting, but fell in love with the character Jai Singh Rathod of Jane tu ya jane na, he had to audition thrice for the role though, until Amir Khan was convinced! So much for family support. "He really enjoyed teasing me and ragging me when I was small, so actually throughout the time that I was growing up, I didn't like him at all," says the shy actor about his mamujaan, "Since the time I turned 12-14, our relationship changed a lot, and we became good friends. We have similar sense of humor and we get along very well now," he adds on. Ask him weather his mamujaan has any tips to give him about his career and the light-eyed heartthrob replies "He (Aamir) has always said that you have to figure out things for yourself, be it in the film or scripts that you choose or the way you do your work or the style you act."
Talking about his debut movie, Imraan did not expect it to be exactly the smashing hit that it has proved to be, back home he had to translate it to his Grandma as she does not understands Hindi, both his parents seem to love his movie. Ask him about Pappu from the song 'pappu cant dance' he replies that Mamujaan is actually pappu, against the earlier comparisons to the other Khan, Salmaan. About his personal life, Imaran has been through three to four previous relationships and considers himself quite lousy in the matters of love. Currently this new flavor of the season is dating Avantika Malik, who was previously dating another hot item Ranbhir Kapoor. Now we all know that 'its a small world after all', especially in Bollywood.
